      Auto QA

      Auto QA allows you to set up rules against which translations will be automatically checked. This article will guide you on how to configure Auto QA to boost your LQA speed and quality.

      Auto QA rules are applicable inside Translation Workbench only. Follow this guide to set up Translation Workbench for your Grid.

       

      Create a new Auto QA rules setting

      1. Click thebutton next to your Company's name in Gridly.
      2. Select Localization settings.
      3. From the left-hand side menu, select Auto QA.
      4. Click Create New Setting.

      To assign Auto QA rules setting to Gridly Content projects:

      1. Click the Select a project to assign field.
      2. Select projects from the list.

      A Project in Content module can only have one Auto QA rules setting at a time.

      To assign Auto QA rules setting to a Project in TMS module, refer to this guide.

       

      Customize Auto QA rules setting

      1. Click Customize.
      2. Here you will see 4 tabs representing different rule groups. Go through each tab and select the rules you want to apply. Changes are saved automatically.

      Segment and terms:

      • Terminology
        • Identical segment
          • Inconsistent target
          • Inconsistent source
        • Forbidden
          • Check forbidden terms
          • Check termbase forbidden with no source equivalence
          • Check termbase forbidden in source
      • Others
        • Non-tranlsation
          • Check Non Translatable in source
          • Check Non Translatable in target
        • Source and Target are the same
        • Empty target
          • Empty target
          • Repetition exceptions and segments with an empty target are skipped
        • Translation is Overlength
        • TM Translation
        • MT Translation
      • Inside segment checking
        • Segments with double spaces
        • Segments with unpaired quotes
        • Segments with unpaired brackets
        • Segments where words in CamelCase do not match between source and target
        • Segments where words fully in UPPERCASE do not match between source and target
        • Title case mismatch
        • Segments with alpha numeric mismatches

      Consistency

      • Consistent translation
        • Termbase consistency
          • Inconsistent terms appear in Source when compared to Target
          • Inconsistent terms appear in Target when compared to Source

      Inline tags

      • Tag detection
        • Tag detection

      Spelling and grammar

      • Spell check
        • Spell check

      Gridly AI

      • AI
        • Gridly AI

      Make sure to select at least one rule for your Auto QA rule setting. If none is selected, you won't be able to run Auto QA check in Translation Workbench.
