Auto QA is available for the CAT module only.
Auto QA allows you to set up rules against which translations will be automatically checked. This article will guide you on how to configure Auto QA to boost your LQA speed and quality while working in Gridly CAT editor.

Create new Auto QA rule setting
- Click the
button next to your Company's name in Gridly.
- Select Localization settings.
- From the left-hand side menu, select Auto QA.
- Click Create New Setting.
A project in CMS module can only have one Auto QA rules setting at a time. To assign Auto QA rules setting to a project in CMS module:
- Click the Select a project to assign field.
- Select projects from the list.

Customize Auto QA rule setting
- Click Customize.
- Here you will see 4 tabs representing different rule groups. Go through each tab and select the rules you want to apply. Changes are saved automatically.
Segment and terms:
- Terminology
- Identical segment
- Inconsistent target
- Inconsistent source
- Forbidden
- Check forbidden terms
- Check termbase forbidden with no source equivalence
- Check termbase forbidden in source
- Identical segment
- Others
- Non-tranlsation
- Check Non Translatable in source
- Check Non Translatable in target
- Source and Target are the same
- Empty target
- Empty target
- Repetition exceptions and segments with an empty target are skipped
- Translation is Overlength

Make sure to select at least one rule for your Auto QA rule setting. If none is selected, you won't be able to run Auto QA check in CAT editor.
Perform Auto QA check in the CAT editor
- Open the CAT editor.
- Click the
button on the right-hand side toolbar to open QA check panel.
- Click the
button and make sure Auto QA is selected.
- Click Run QA check
