      Jobs in Gridly TMS

      Quang Pham

      Updated on April 25th, 2025

Jobs in Gridly TMS represent individual translation assignments for specific content you want to translate. A Job can be created from various file formats or directly from a View in Gridly CMS.

Each Job is automatically divided into Tasks based on the settings of its Category, making it easier to assign work to appropriate vendors. Jobs allow you to analyze the required effort and pre-translate content using translation memories and machine translation, helping you streamline your translation workflow.

      Create a new Job

There are 2 ways to create Jobs:

      • Uploading a file in Gridly TMS
      • Pushing a Grid from Gridly CMS module to Gridly TMS

Create a Job by file uploading in Gridly TMS

      1. Inside a Category, click Upload file.
