Each member in your company has two roles: Company role and Project role. This article outlines the different actions that can be taken by members depends on their Company role and Project role.

Company role

There are four default Company roles: Owner, Admin, User, and TMS Manager. Each has its own set of permission which are organized into three main categories:

  • Company management: Controls access to company-wide settings and administrative functions
  • CMS: Governs access to the CMS module
  • TMS: Controls access to the TMS module

Project role

There are six default Project roles, each has its own set of permissions for the CMS and TMS modules:

  • Creator: Has full access to all CMS functions including project management, databases, Grids, automation, and branches. Also full TMS project, category, job, and task management capabilities.
  • Editor: Can manage CMS grids, columns, records, and translation features, with access to TMS job and task management but not higher-level TMS project or category functions.
  • Localization Manager: Focuses on content and localization management with CMS grid, record, and translation access, plus full TMS project, category, job, and task management capabilities.
  • TMS Admin: Has limited CMS access (mainly record updates and translation services) but comprehensive TMS management across all levels - projects, categories, jobs, and tasks.
  • Translator: Has minimal CMS permissions limited to specific translation functions and column aggregation, with TMS access restricted to task-level work only.
  • Viewer: Has read-only access with no editing permissions in either CMS or TMS modules.
